Acoustic Pipe Insulation

Soundlag 4525C Acoustic Pipe Insulation is a high-performance pipe wrap consisting of a 5.0 kg/m² flexible acoustic barrier bonded to 25mm thick flexible convoluted foam.

The convoluted foam acts as an acoustic decoupler, minimizing noise transmission by isolating the pipe’s noise energy from the external acoustic barrier, ensuring superior soundproofing performance.

Description

Soundlag 4525C Acoustic Pipe Insulation is a high-performance pipe wrap featuring a 5.0 kg/m² flexible acoustic barrier bonded to 25mm thick flexible convoluted foam.

The convoluted foam acts as an acoustic decoupler, isolating the pipe’s noise energy from the external acoustic barrier for superior soundproofing. The outer surface is bonded to an aluminium foil, providing a fire-resistant covering.

Designed for easy installation, Soundlag 4525C effectively reduces noise breakout from pipes. Its flexible polymer-based noise barrier ensures optimal performance, even on smaller pipes.

Additional Acoustic Products Available:

  • Wavebar & Wavebar Quadzero – Mass-loaded vinyl noise barriers designed to reduce noise transfer through materials.
  • Decidamp CLD – Damping material engineered to minimize structural-borne vibration.
  • Sorberfoam AGC – Sound-absorbing material that reduces noise reverberation within a space.

Features & Benefits

  • Applications – Suitable for hydraulic and waste pipes, air-conditioning ducting and shrouds, fan coil units, compressor wraps, and swimming pool & spa motor wraps.
